Dark and scary attractions : Featured Project

The Dungeons - London, York, Edinburgh, Warwick, Amsterdam, Hamburg

FAD’s work can be found in all of Merlin Entertainments' Dungeon Attractions, although we can’t reveal too much for fear of the most terrible torture and punishment.

Presentations and effects designed and delivered for the Dungeons by FAD include the show design and theming for the dark drop ride Extremis, and shows for Sweeney Todd, Dick Turpin, Bloody Vikings, Medieval Surgery, William Wallace, and several ghost shows.

The latest Dungeon shows both involve fake fire effects where visitors are burnt at the stake.  See the new shows Bloody Mary in the London Dungeon and Witches! in the York Dungeon. 

Additionally, FAD was contracted as Creative Project Manager for the new Warwick Castle Dungeon.  We developed many special effects for this project, which was described by the Daily Mail as ‘Britain’s scariest tourist attraction’.  Go and see it for yourself!
