About Us

Farmer Attraction Development Ltd. is a privately owned independent consulting, design and production company, providing a wide range of entertainment and interpretive design and production services.
We primarily work for theme parks, aquariums, zoos and other entertainment based visitor attractions, acting as creative project consultants or as production team leaders in the UK and overseas, especially in Europe, Scandinavia and south-east Asia.
 
As consultants, we provide over 25 years of experience, knowledge and understanding during the complex process of park and new attraction design and development - projects which are often an operator's once in a lifetime purchase.  We develop  master plans both for the redevelopment of existing parks and also completely new parks. 

As production team leaders, we take projects from original concepts to final installation and commissioning.  Production projects are undertaken in co-operation with a ‘family’ of close associates with whom we have worked for many years.  We work by bringing together teams of specialists on a project-by-project basis to produce cost-effective solutions, combining human and technical resources in a flexible, agile and economic structure.

Additionally, Nick Farmer is a non-executive director of Wicksteed Park Ltd, Kettering, Northamptonshire, one of the UK's oldest leisure parks.  He is also a Trustee of the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum at Neatishead in Norfolk.  He operates on both sides of the industry, as a creative consulting supplier and on the boards of attraction operators, which allows us to understand the challenges of new project development from all points of view.
